1968: VICTOR is founded by Mr. Den Li Chen in Taipei, Taiwan.
1978: Guido Schmidt begins distribution in Germany; VICTOR Sport Vertriebs GmbH acquires trademark rights for Germany.
1983: Launch of the first carbon racket and establishment of the apparel production line.
1992: Opening of a production center in Nanjing, China, and launch of VICTOR’s first footwear line.
1997: Following the passing of Guido Schmidt, Hamburg-based businessman Jan Beutler takes over the company. Later, Rolf Aurin becomes a partner, and the company acquires trademark rights across Europe and internationally.
2009: Start of the official partnership with the Korean national badminton team.
2015: VICTOR becomes the official partner and equipment supplier of the Malaysian national badminton team.
2017: VICTOR becomes the official partner and equipment supplier of Badminton Denmark and main sponsor of the Spanish Open.
2018: Acquisition of trademark rights in France and Sweden, completing VICTOR’s brand rights portfolio across Europe.
2021: Andreas Sievers takes over as Managing Director of VICTOR Europe GmbH from Rolf Aurin.
2024: VICTOR is named official partner of the FFBaD (French Badminton Federation) and the French national team for the period 2025–2030.
